Shreya Menon
Psychologist, Therapist

My Path to Helping You
My journey in psychology began during my undergraduate studies and grew into a lifelong passion, leading me to earn a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and an M.Phil. in Child and Adolescent Psychology—both with distinction. Early experience as a school counselor sparked my focus on supporting adolescents and young adults, a population I continue to work with closely.
To deepen my skills, I have completed certifications in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), play therapy basics, and Psychological First Aid from Johns Hopkins University. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered with the National Disaster Management Authority(India) helpline, providing support to those in crisis.
My Expertise
I am a trained psychologist with over 6 years of experience providing therapy to individuals aged 13–40. While my specialty is adolescents and young adults, I work with clients across all age groups to address depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and life transitions. My approach combines professional expertise with empathy, helping clients develop practical coping skills and build resilience.
Beyond Private Practice
Since 2023, I have consulted for MHSS, a German firm supporting the mental well-being of officers on merchant ships, broadening my perspective and expertise in specialized care. Since 2025, I have also been training upcoming psychologists and therapists, successfully running a 6-week intensive course on therapy basics to help the next generation of professionals develop strong foundational skills.
