My Path to Helping You
My passion for psychology began during my undergraduate studies, where it was a core subject. This passion fueled my pursuit of a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, which I completed with distinction.
Following my Master's, I gained valuable experience working as a school counselor. This experience solidified my desire to specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. I then went on to earn an MPhil in Child and Adolescent Psychology, again graduating with distinction.
Throughout my academic journey, I actively sought opportunities to expand my skillset. I obtained a certificate in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (Levels 1 & 2) and play therapy basics. Additionally, I completed a training program in Psychological First Aid from Johns Hopkins University via Coursera.
My commitment to helping others extends beyond private practice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered for five months with the National Disaster Management Authority's helpline, leveraging my training in Psychological First Aid to support those in need.

My Expertise

I am a trained psychologist with over 6 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals aged 13-40. While my specialty lies in working with adolescents and young adults, I am trained to provide counseling across all age groups.
In my practice, I help clients navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and lifestyle problems. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals during adolescence, young adulthood, and marriage, which can be times of significant personal growth and change.

Beyond Private Practice

Since 2023, I have also had the privilege of consulting for MHSS, a German firm that supports the mental well-being of officers working on merchant ships. This experience has allowed me to broaden my horizons and provide specialised care to this unique population facing job-related mental health challenges.
